Raspberry pi initial setup

First boot raspbian

1)initial config

sudo raspi-config

     -expand file system

     -set " Desktop Log in as user 'pi' at the graphical desktop"

     -set timezone

2) rotate screen

     sudo nano /boot/config.txt

     display_rotate=1 90 degrees

     sudo apt-get update

     sudo apt-get install raspi-config

3) Disable screen sleep

     sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

     ADD FOLLOWING LINES TO THE "[SeatDefaults]" SECTION

     xserver-command=X -s 0 dpms

4) update/ upgrade

   sudo apt-get install libboost-regex1.49.0
    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo reboot
5)  Install your packages and begin the fun.
